National Organization of Minority Architects
Kevin Holland, 2015-2016 NOMA President
NOMA recently installed its current president Kevin Holland to lead the historic, forty-four year old organization.  Mr. Holland currently serves as the Managing Director of newly-founded, wg:Architecture, llc--an African-American-owned, architectural practice in Cincinnati that markets exclusively in Healthcare Architecture.

Mr. Holland was elected 1st Vice President/President-Elect (2015-16) at the 2012 NOMA Detroit Conference after serving as Midwest Region Vice President.  After being introduced to NOMA as a graduate student at the 1997 NOMA Miami Conference, Mr. Holland prides himself on the use of the NOMA network.  In 1998, this network resulted in Mr. Holland starting a 13-year relationship--including that as Director of Operations--with a prominent NOMA firm as a result of the Miami Conference; in 2006, the NOMA network allowed him to extend an offer of employment to a NOMA intern as his first hire, and; in 2012, the same NOMA network created an opportunity to recruit a fellow NOMA member and colleague to join him on the new venture in Cincinnati.

Now in his 24th year of practice, Mr. Holland started his architectural career in 1989 following his graduation from the University of Virginia with a B.S. degree in Architecture in 1988 and the University of Michigan with a M.Arch. degree in 1998.  As a native of Wilmington, Delaware, Mr. Holland has been very active in the community: he presently serves as director within the Music Ministry at Allen Temple AME Church; and past-President of the Board of Directors of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Center in Indianapolis and past-Co-Chair of the Directional Signage Committee of the Indianapolis 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee.
