Global Inclusion: “Celebrate You. Celebrate Us.”
Saturday, May 16, 2015 – Center For Civil & Human Rights
The 2015 Global Inclusion event, “Celebrate You, Celebrate Us” will act as an introduction for some, a reengagement for others and a celebration for all.  Last year in Chicago, the Global Inclusion Reception showcased diversity in architecture through a benefit networking event that was very successful.  Once again, the event will host one of the largest contingents of architects and designers representing various multicultural professional organizations around the country that advocate and celebrate the design profession.  The event kicks off with a cocktail reception giving the attendees the opportunity to mix and mingle in a relaxed music filled atmosphere with heavy hors d'oeuvres and drinks.  This year, the night will also feature a myriad of performances from a variety of art forms by equally diverse artists and genres. The celebration will be a fitting finale for a convention that kicked off with President Bill Clinton as keynote speaker; you don’t want to miss it.

The backdrop for this unique event will be the new Center for Civil and Human Rights, whose continued mission is to celebrate civil and human rights achievements.  Attendees of the event will have access to the Civil and Human Rights galleries during the event.  The Center located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, sits on Pemberton Place nestled between the Georgia Aquarium and the World of Coca‚ÄźCola museums.  (Date: Saturday, May 16, 2015; Tickets: $29 for AIA Convention 2015 attendees.  See more information on NOMAtlanta Global Inclusion web page at: http://nomaatlanta.org/?page_id=4620)
