NAAB Team Training at October Conference
NOMA will be hosting, at the 43rd Annual Conference, mandatory, on-site, Visiting Team Member Training for Accreditation Site Visits, conducted by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB).

The training session will be held on Saturday, October 17th from 2:00pm-5:00pm at the Sheraton New Orleans (500 Canal Street).
The Visiting Teams are a part of the process for university architectural programs to renew their respective accreditation.
Taken from the NAAB website: “Accreditation review and site visits are conducted by a team of educators, practitioners, regulators and students. These colleagues review the self-study and serve on the visiting team that reviews the program after the self-study is complete. Teams, in addition to the peers described above, may also include public members (non-academics who have an interest in architectural education), program sponsored observers or NAAB observers. All team members are volunteers and are not compensated.”
AIA New Orleans and AIA Louisiana members may attend the NAAB Training, only, without registering for the NOMA Conference.
In order to reserve a seat and to receive training material, please contact
Cassandra Pair at NAAB (cpair@naab.org) no later than October 9.
